I want to arrange a quote – what do I do?

Call us on 0754 927 730 during our opening hours – Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm and we can schedule a time that suits you. Alternatively, you can email us on admin@chga.com.au with your contact details and we will call you to book your free, no-obligation measure and quote.

What payment options are available?

We accept cash, cheque, Direct Transfer (on internet banking), EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa. The various options are noted in full on the bottom left hand corner of your Tax Invoice.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A 50% deposit is payable on ‘supply only’ orders. If we are supplying and installing (or fitting) your job, then we only require your written confirmation that you wish to proceed. See ‘How do I proceed with my order?’. Payment of your account will then be required by the installation date that we have booked with you.

How long will my order take?

The length of time your order will take depends on the items you are selecting. Our staff will let you know when they are measuring and quoting, or you can call our office and we will advise you of our production lead-time.

Why do you use Secureview stainless steel marine-grade 316 mesh?

With Secureview, you can be assured that the patented manufacturing system, which compresses, rather than screws, the mesh into the frames, and the use of marine grade 316 stainless steel high tensile woven mesh, means you are getting a superior product you can rely on. Certain stainless steel mesh products can use either non-marine grade stainless steel and/or unsuitable manufacturing systems. If the metals, eg. stainless steel mesh, steel screws and aluminium frames, are not correctly manufactured, a metal to metal contact reaction can occur, creating corrosion or rust. Not only is this unsightly, but it can damage the integrity of the product. View our Products and Services page to find more information on Secureview.

What security screen options do you provide?

We offer security screens in either Secureview marine-grade 316 stainless steel mesh, or heavy duty 7mm diamond grille. Go to our Products page to find information on the benefits of each, as well as the differences between the two. You can choose from view versus price, security versus barrier screens or a combination of factors. We let you determine the options that best suit you and your family.

I want to compare more than one option on my quote – is that possible?

You can either let us know when you first book your quote if you would like a number of options for all or any one of your items – OR you can call us after you have received your quote and let us know you would like an alternative option. For example, if you want a shower screen, we can tell you the difference between getting a framed, a semi-frameless, or a full frameless style.

When do I have to pay for my order?

For supply and install projects, payment is required by the installation date. A Tax Invoice, which notes the total amount payable, together with our payment options, will issue to you shortly prior to the installation date we have booked with you. For supply only jobs, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit to commence production, with the balance payable on collection or delivery of your item.

I am happy with the quote – how do I proceed with my order?

If you have received a final quote, which shows exactly those items that you are happy with, you can email us, noting the quote number, the amount authorised and confirming that you wish to go ahead. Alternatively, you can sign and date the bottom of your final quotation and either fax, post or deliver it to us. We will then get production underway and will be in touch shortly afterwards to book an installation time.

I just want a standard screen door; can I come in and buy one?

At Coast & Hinterland Glass & Aluminium we are committed to making sure you get the right product the first time. In our experience there is no such thing as a ‘standard’ window or door – they are all slightly different. Many of our customers have bought a ready-made standard screen from another supplier, only to be disappointed when it doesn’t fit. We measure each and every window and door to the millimetre to make sure your screens fit properly. If you are confident in the measurements and feel you can fit your screen yourself, we do offer a supply only service and can make a screen for you to suit.
